GRAMMY Award-Winner, The Wallflowers, to Take the Stage at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod in October

LAS VEGAS – May 15, 2023 – The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod and SPI Entertainment will welcome GRAMMY Award-winning rock ‘n’ roll band, The Wallflowers, for a one-night-only performance on Saturday, Oct. 14 at The STRAT Theater. Led by soulful front man and rock royalty Jakob Dylan, The Wallflowers will perform a set list that ranges from their hits that helped define ‘90s rock to music from their much-acclaimed new album, “Exit Wounds,” released last year. Tickets will go on sale starting Thursday, May 18 on The STRAT’s website, linked here.

For more than 30 years, The Wallflowers have stood as one of rock’s most dynamic and purposeful bands – a unit dedicated to and continually honing a sound that meshes timeless songwriting and storytelling with a hard-hitting and decidedly modern musical attack. The band’s signature style has been present through the decades, baked into the grooves of smash hits, from mid-‘90’s “Bringing Down the Horse” and “One Headlight,” to “Wrong End of the Spear” off their latest album.
The band’s latest album, “Exit Wounds,” marks the first new Wallflowers material since “Glad All Over.” The much-anticipated record finds the band’s signature sound – lean, potent and eminently entrancing – intact, even as Dylan surrounds himself with a fresh cast of musicians. “Exit Wounds,” which, true to its title, is an ode to people – individual and collective – that have, to put it mildly, been through things. Throughout, Dylan’s lyrics are specked with images of spears, swords and battle-worn flags being raised, of wayward buses and battered ships, riderless horses and lost planes.
The show will begin at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning at 10 a.m. PDT on Thursday, May 18. True Rewards Players Club members will have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets from 10 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 17 through Thursday, May 18 at 9 a.m. PDT. Accommodating up to 950 guests, The STRAT Theater includes a party pit directly in front of the stage, making it one of the most intimate showrooms in Las Vegas. Prior to Night Ranger’s shows, the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar; epic rock band, Cheap Trick; and GRAMMY award winner, Rick Springfield, have most recently taken the stage.
